DIY Monthly Onesie PRINTABLES

You all have been asking for a LONG time about the files to download to make your own monthly onesie gifts. And let me first say, I have a military husband, 2 BOYS and crazy dogs, oh and we just decided to build a home! So that process has had me pretty distracted lately. Anyway, no more excuses, 250 million years later, here they are. :)

You have seen the boy version already, and I just made the girl version today, so I haven't posted pictures, but there is a little preview next to each link so you can see the colors I used. I have them already flipped too, so you don't have to follow that step per the directions on the original post. So just print the file and follow the rest of my instructions HERE.

Some of you have asked which brand of transfer paper I use- Usually, I just buy the brand that they sell at Joanns, (because I am always there) which is this but I have also used this. I have found both to work the same. And it will work with pretty much any inkjet printer. Thats important. Some printers are laser printers (which is what kinkos and professional copy places have) Laser printers get so hot that they melt the transfer paper and will probably ruin your printer. Not good. So just make sure your printer is an INKJET, and you're good to go. :)

(If you are having any issues with the links, just let me know and I can email you the file!)

         Boy Version 1-6 Months

            Boy Version 7-12 Months

              Girl Version 1-6 Months

And if you use the links and make onesies, please comment back, I'd love to hear from you! :)

***UPDATE** Here are my photos of the GIRL onesies! :) If you want to see the BOY version, they are over HERE with the actual instructions!

All printed up! Ready to cut and iron!

I bought 4 of the Carters brand 3 packs

I coordinated the colors with the round box I picked up too :)

Here they are all rolled up! :) Just need to add a card! :)

  1. Thank you. I think this may start to be my go to gift for Baby Showers, especially for a 2nd or 3rd baby. Once I make them, I will check in.

  2. What?! You have got to be kidding me! This is AWESOME. So I have a friend that is pregnant with a little girl and I remembered your post and decided that's what I wanted to make her. I take pictures of Tiff every month but just write the number on a piece of paper. I don't like that way at all. So anyway I have had the onsies for a while now but keep not doing it because I can't find any images I like online that I can download for free. I was just thinking today how I really need to get it done soon because she's moving! This is like the best news ever. You have done all the work for me!! Thank you thank you thank you! I was going to do the freezer paper method but now that you've done the work for me maybe I'll just do it your way. Thank you!

  3. Thank you for posting the template! Both the boy and girl look awesome. I have a friend from work that is due next Friday. I just finished printing them out. You asked for comments, so I thought I would share my experience. I downloaded the files but couldn't get them to print from the jpeg. So I copied the picture and pasted in Word. That enabled me to adjust the picture so I could fit it all on the page. After a little maneuvering, I got it to work. I'm about to start ironing them on. Again, many thanks for the template! I love it!!

  7. I forgot in my previous post, but I was wondering if you would be willing to share with me the sizes of the twelve onesies? I've not had a child myself, so a suggestion would be really helpful.

    Thanks Again!!

    1. I bought 4 packages that each came with 3 onesies. The sizes I chose were 0-3months, 3-6months, 6-9months and 9-12months. I got lucky on the 9-12 months pack though. I dont always see that size. so I would say 2 packs of the 6-12month sizes would work well! :) Hope this helped!

  14. So, I am wanting to add a 0 month or newborn with a zero in the circle that would be taken within the first few days. Is there anyway you could create that for me? :) I want it to look cohesive. I have a niece and nephew being born within a week of each other and am thrilled you have created these templates. Thanks so much.

My transfer were too big for the paper. How do I make them smaller. The circles were printing off the edges.
