Since we are having 2 boys, we decided a nice big playground would be perfect & get SO much use.... and by 'WE', I mean it was completely my idea, like most of the crazy things that go on around here :) Not even Bradlee knew this was coming. ;)
It came in 7 HUGE boxes... I mean, HUGE huge, like they almost didnt all fit in Ry's truck, huge. But we brought it home and then it sat in our garage for at least a week because, oh yeah, it was still snowing... But you never know when Costco is going to pull things from the shelves, and I didnt want to miss out on it!!!! (I probably shouldn't mention that they are STILL selling it.)
When Ry finally opened the boxes, I felt bad. Haha, It advertised that it was all pre-drilled and pre-assembled.. but nothing was labeled correctly and you couldnt work your way through, one box at a time. You had to open every box, and measure each piece of wood before you could figure out which one you actually needed. (Obviously not pre-drilled or assembled.) Thank goodness my hubby is handy and knows what he is doing, otherwise, it would still be sitting in our garage. :)
Once we got going, the whole garage was filled with the boxes and every spot on our kitchen counters filled with the hardware. (And we have a LOT of counter space) But we finally got a system down and got it all set up, and by 'we' I mean him.. My job was to find him the correct screws/bolts/nuts etc. Which I am now the master at and could probably name every piece of hardware that home depot sells. ;)
^This isnt even half of it...
And here it is in all its glory... :)
**To the 3 people who probably read this.. If you are ever as crazy as 'we' were.. here are some pointers...
1. Dont do it.
2. The instructions wont help.
3. Good luck leveling everything when you're setting up the playground on a sloped backyard. haha, that was fun.
4. Dont ever discuss moving to your husband, because that implies he will have to disassemble the entire thing, and then re-assemble it.. hahaha :) thank goodness he loves me. :)
