I love making things and doing crafty stuff, especially doing them with Bradlee! And I love starting traditions for our family- So I knew for Mothers Day I had to start a new crafty tradition of something I could look at for years to come.. Ive been VERY into gardening lately and decided what better thing to make than a handprint stepping stone for my garden! Its messy and squishy and Bradlee can have full control over what he gets to put on it! (Which is all around the perfect project for him.) And every year we can make a new one and compare how much he's grown! :) Although, I might cheat and make one in June with the baby's handprints as a tiny baby... we'll see. :) haha
By the way, this whole process was super easy.. We bought a kit, (because Ry isnt home and I didnt want to figure out how to mix concrete.. but mostly, I didnt want to have to carry a big bag of cement..) We just dumped the mix into a bucket and stirred it up with some water! Just make sure you have a bucket of clean water to wash your hands/tools off with!!
Oh and if you have a dog like ours, she will try to drink the water- no matter how much cement residue is floating in it...
And he wanted to put his hand back in for a picture... so here it is.. haha :)
